Well it's official. The last man standing of our original 2000/2001 summer clerk group at Minters has thrown in the towel and finishes on Friday. Yes Prash has resigned and is going to G+T next week. It's good to have some closure, and I'm sure Minter Ellison is happy about their retention rates from that particular clerkship group. Although I guess the writing was on the wall from day one when we all got pissed together and talked about how we never wanted to work in a big corporate law firm!
Anyway we had a great little reunion last Thursday night with Chab in town from Hamilton, Ontario for a few days. Sal jetted in from the Blue Mountains and we had Chad, Jen and Daniel, Prash and Mel, Mia and Dan and of course Sarah and myself for dinner at our place. Fun night, what a great group of people!
