Never mind, turns out they were a bit late parking the car so got bumped and had to take the next flight - damn that "have to be there half hour ahead" rule! Well Sarah and I checked in and took in some famous Brissy sights such as the Brekky Creek Hotel

Walking back from lunch there we had our first taste of rather odd Brisvegan redneckishness. Teenagers roared past in an old Datsun shouting "POOFS!" out the window at us. A married couple walking down the street. Inspired work boys.
Fast forward to the ceremony - right on the banks of the Brisbane River just before sunset at a glorious spot called Bretts Wharf. Here comes the bride looking ravishing and smiling like a banshee:

It was a great little ceremony and the best part was that the whole time the celebrant was talking Michelle and Ramsay kept catching each other's eye and absolutely cracking up laughing.

The whole thing was just beautiful and one of the nicest little ceremonies I've been to. Except I had my bubble-blowing equipment confiscated after getting bubble solution into people's eyes and then encouraging small children to drink it.

The reception was a triumph too, a room completely decked out with hundreds of red chinese paper lanterns, an hilarious group of speakers - including Michelle's dad with an awesome slideshow, absolutely equisite food, plenty of top notch champers and such a great bunch of family and friends that we met for the first time.

Thankfully I managed to remain completely sober:
