Parfum de stench

I mentioned the Perfume Pagoda before I'm sure? A day trip from Hanoi where you drive for a couple of hours, then get tossed into rowboats for a couple of hours, then spend a couple of hours walking up stone stairs in the side of a hill (my kind of holiday activity!) to a sacred buddhist cave. All in 38 degree heat where the pommy guy next to you looks like he's been thoroughly dunked in liquid from head to toe as the sweat literally shoots out of his pores. So if there is any actual perfume at the pagoda, it's a little difficult to detect. Beautiful place though.
