Hikey Hikerton

Anyway after our garbage truck awakening we thought we'd better get up. After a day of complete inactivity (apart from my grilling by the DPD) it was time to torture Sarah some more. I thought a 7 hour hike through the mountains behind town should do the trick. First brekky in one of the delightful cafes. I tell you what this town certainly does a good cheap feed in any one of about 200 atmospheric cafes.

The hike was fun too, pretty awesome views down to the town and the huge lake behind it.

I was a bit concerned that I wouldn't get enough exercise so instead of taking the chairlift up the mountain to start the hike I decided to hoof it through the forest and meet Sarah at the top. This means I didn't get the chance to experience riding the chairlift with a Bai woman, the local indigenous people of this region. Apparently it's quite the thrill
