I was bloody chilly running to work this morning, and for good reason I found out when I read the paper:
Sydney has suffered through another cold night - and while the temperature is a few points higher than yesterday morning's 21-year July low of 3.7 degrees, the wind chill has brought some places below freezing.
This morning temperatures were between 6.5 and 7.2 degrees across most of greater Sydney, but, according to the weather bureau, a significant wind chill dragged the temperature around the airport and Sydney city down to minus 0.6 degrees.
