Melbourne

After a weekend out on the Great Ocean Road we headed into Melbourne Sunday night, stayed with Mel's lovely parents and went out for a bite to eat at the vegetarian Moroccan Soup Bar that I'd been recommended by so many people. YUMMY!

The next day it was up early for Mel's patented world famous magical mystery tour of Melbourne. And let me tell you we did the lot! It was so much fun to be guided around the city by a local. I few highlights were:

Making fun of the fashion model photo shoots in the funky little laneways

Drooling over an incredible array of cakes in St Kilda

Watching the supposed local haggle with tourist volunteers to try to find a place (to be fair, they were clueless as well as to the whereabouts of this one little street)

Having the girls called up on stage in the pub to sing a bit of Mustang Sally

I just like this photo of everyone's shoes lit up under the table

Eating at one of the most delicious restaurants I've ever been to - tapas at Movidas near Fed Square - with Lauren and Stu. For the non-vegos there was "wagyu beef with truffle foam", it almost had me ordering it.
