Back to Aus and MERRY CHRISTMAS!

After we releuctantly dragged ourselves away from the elephants we had just a couple of days left in Bangkok doing last minute Chrissy shopping before our flight back to Sydney - maybe a little too much last minute shopping as my checked baggage weighed in at 38 kilos, plus at least 15kg in hang luggage and let me tell you, dragging my own body weight worth of bags around Sydney's rail system and then back home from the airport was not a "holiday highlight"!

A definate holiday highlight however, was getting to hang out with the lovely Richard and Sam, a pommie couple we met at Elephant Nature Park and then ran into in Bangkok and spent our two days there going on river cruises, buying endless t-shirts and throwing back bevvies at roadside mobile cocktail carts

So that was it - the very last night of our trip:

It was an amazing holiday all up, I'll have to do a retrospective soon, but I have to say right now that as good as it was, coming back home was fan-bloody-tastic. Sydney in summer is amazing, getting to spend time with my family and friends again, moving back into my wonderful apartment, my first surf at Freshwater beach on Christmas morning with 30 degree temperatures and crystal clear water, then coming for Chrissy lunch with mum and dad and Tim... Ahhhh! I couldn't be happier.

And to look forward to there's New Years, my 30th birthday, Sarah and my wedding, Sarah's parents and brother coming over to Sydney from Canada for three weeks, my best mate Chab also flying in. All this in the next two weeks!

Well now it's time for one more Christmas swim before the sun sets.
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!
