Well Calcutta actually - we're flying out there in a couple of hours. Excited and nervous all at once, I've heard India is a trip. We've spent the last few days in Bangkok which has been pretty damn awesome, especially getting to hang out with Woody and Ramsay, spending 30 seconds in the Grand Palace, 4 hours at the enormous weekend markets and probably the same amount of time at the cheap cocktail carts on Khao San Road! So much fun! Happy birthday Rams and congrats on your engagement guys.
Photos to come, just can't get em up on this computer.
Wierd thing the first morning we got here after an overnight bus from Chiang Mai, we were dazed and half asleep at 5.30am wandering around Khao San Road amongst the handful of drinkers and lady-boys still up from the night before, trying to find a cafe to have brekky. Halfway through my eggs and toast I realised that sitting at the next table right behind me was one of my flatmates from London about 7 years ago. She was a bit odd so I sat there considering whether to talk to her or not, but she jumped up and left before my sleep-deprived brain could reach a decision. Ah well. India here we come!
