We met up with our Vietnam travel buddies, Jo and Omar for food and fun in the capital of Cambodia, Phnom Penh and then met up with them again in Siem Reap, the town outside of Angkor. We spent three days at the temples, ridding around on bikes and exploring at a leisurely pace, taking in sunsets and one of us sunrises (you'll never guess who got up at 5 am and ran out there). It was incredible and I was sad when it finished.
Other highlights of Siem Reap included watching Mike and Jo donate blood at the children's hospital, while Omar and I cowered in the corner and sheepishly handed over a cash donations instead.
We also managed to get in a couple happy hours at the Foreigners Correspondent's Club for cocktails and generally had a great time.
