Planes, Trains and Rickshaws

This may be stating the obvious, but there are some serious distances in China. In 30 days we travelled overland from Beijing to Hong Kong, basically zigzagging across the middle of the country. We took about 12 intercity buses which took a total of around 70 hours, four sleeper trains which came up to about 60 hours (there were some loooong rides) and spent three full days on three different boats.

We also took city buses, trams, subway trains, taxis, minibuses, gondolas, cable cars, motorised rickshaws, pedicabs, and rode bicycles and horses. My arse is never going to be the same...
