Well The Altruists last night was excellent, a truly funny little play. The cast were all just so perfect and there were some ripper lines that had our little group cacking. Emma was naturally outstanding!
The other highlight of the evening being rubbing shoulders during intermission with Nicole Kidman and her mum and dad. Poor woman, it must be awful to not be able to walk into a room without everyone turning to each other and whispering loudly, "Oh my god, that's Nicole Kidman! Look at her hair, it's like a terrified maltese terrier has latched onto her scalp!!! And she looks a lot older than in the movies. And taller!"
Actually I think she's stalking me, last year her and her mum walked right past us outside the Metro when we were going to see Def Poetry Jam. Thankfully Chab pushed her off the pavement into the gutter before she could try to start a conversation with me. I find that so awkward.
